About Me
Hi, my name is Saoussen – I’m a lifestyle and portrait photographer based in Washington, DC, and I specialize in capturing people in their element—whether that’s a quiet moment between two people, a playful afternoon with family, or an individual confidently stepping into their personal brand.
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up as an expat kid, my family traveled often, and my parents always had a camera in hand. Watching them document our adventures sparked something in me, and I’ve been chasing light and emotion through a lens ever since.
My approach is about storytelling—natural, candid, and full of heart. I believe the best photos aren’t overly posed; they’re the ones that make you feel something. Whether I’m working with families, couples, or entrepreneurs, my goal is to create a space where you can just be yourself—and let the real moment unfold.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually adventuring with my dog, checking out pup-friendly coffee shops, or playing cards and darts with friends. I’m always daydreaming about my next getaway destination—and probably planning it too.
